LINK Confirmations for Operators and Trading Pool Shippers

For a nomination to be scheduled in LINK it must be confirmed by the Upstream AND Downstream parties as noted below.
 
Upstream confirming parties include: 

  • Receipt Point Operator
  • Pipeline Interconnect
  • Upstream Trading Pool Shipper (Station 2 and/or Huntingdon Trading Pools)

Downstream confirming parties include: 

  • Delivery Point Operator
  • Pipeline Interconnect
  • Downstream Trading Pool Shipper (Station 2 and/or Huntingdon Trading Pools)

For Trading Pool nominations at Station 2 and Huntingdon Trading Pools, Shippers MUST communicate with each other to identify who is the nominating party and who is the confirming party to avoid duplicate nominations.

Unless indicated otherwise in the Confirmation Response screen, all nominations are auto-confirmed at the Timely job run at 12:35pm MT. This is the only job run where auto-confirmation is applied. Nomination changes after this time must be confirmed manually or by EDI in order to be scheduled.
